Happy "Owl-A-Ween" Blog Hop Oct. 28

Welcome to the: Happy "Owl-A-Ween" Blog Hop! We're giving you 2 days to hop, so relax, take your time and enjoy hopping through all of the fabulous projects.

We have some of the very best crafters showcasing their projects using an owl with a Halloween theme! You will see cards, layouts, altered art projects and more! We hope that our projects will inspire you to get crafty! If you're here from Elicia's page then your in the right place! If you just happened upon my page and would like to hop from the beginning start over at Suzanne's page. Here's the full line-up in case you get lost along the way:

Nancy {you are here}

A grand prize will be sponsored by: Zannie Berry

To be eligible to win the grand prize, you must visit all of the stops in the hop, become a follower of each blog (if you're not already), and leave a happy comment on each site!

The grand prize winner will be announced on November 1.
For my project I tried something new for me. I picked out a 3D lantern from Silhouette and filled each window with a Halloween scene, including of course a couple owls! This was a really fun project and I'm pretty happy with the results, so success, lol! And what could be better than this: when my son saw this he said "That has to be the coolest thing you've ever made! It's Beast!". Accolades like that from a 10 year old...who could ask for anything more, lol! I hope you enjoy it too:

 Recipe:
Recollections Paper
Silhouette Cutting Files
Tissue Paper
Chalks and Inks
Martha Stewart Ribbon
Cameo
I hope we've inspired you in someway today! Have a Happy Owl-A-Ween!! Now you're off to the very talented Vanessa!

    1. Thank you Jenny! The lantern shape is called Basic Lantern in the Silhouette store. The black parts are also Sil. files that I re-sized to work in the openings. I glued them onto regular tissue paper then adhered the tissue paper onto the inside of the lantern. Glad you liked it, hope you have fun making your own.
