Bree's Nosegay

This has to be my most favorite thing I have made from paper. It's a nosegay for my goddaughter for her upcoming recital. Her costume is black and red so her mom thought bright mixed colors would look great, and they do! I added a black tulle bow with an inset of sheer red glitter ribbon to match her costume.

The technique I used for making the flowers is from Anna Fearer, More Paper than Shoes.
Recipe:
Paper ~ Core'dinations and Recollections Cardstock Paper
Lace collar ~ Joanne's
Black Tulle / White tulle
Sheer red glitter ribbon
Florist wire and green tape

Shaped Mother's Day Card

Today I have a fun shaped card I made using flower files from Scraptastical Kreations and my Cameo. I laid out the design I wanted on the screen then highlighted everything and chose offset and re-sized to about .20. Inside that shape I did and internal offset which I used to make the green background. With the white shaped outline, I mirrored that image above and welded together where the flower petals met to make the actual card. The little faces make them look so cheery, I love how it came out!
Recipe:
Papers: Colorbok
Cutting Files: Scraptastical Kreations
Stamped Faces: Peachy Keen Stamps
Sketch Tool: HotPaws Creations
Zig Evergreen Marker
Charm: Oriental Trading

Wishing you all a very Happy Mother's Day!

Here's a cute card I made for my son to give his Nana (who also happens to be my mom, lol). I used this fun digi stamp from Bugaboo Stamps, colored it on my Cameo and added the funny sentiment. The papers are from Recollections and DCWV, and a ribbon from my stash. Hope she likes it! Thanks for stopping by, say hi, your comments make me smile! :)

Peachy Keen Stamps

This challenge required us to use a soup can to create a project. I decided to make my can a utensil holder to use during barbecues this summer.  I thought a giant bean cooking a frank over an open flame would be a fun take on this. The saying is from one of our favorite shows, Mythbusters.
Recipe:
Piecing files ~ Scraptastical Kreations
Papers ~ Recollections and DCWV
Trendy Twine
Gelly Roll white pen
HotPaws Creations writing tool for the Cameo
and of course super adorable Peachy Stamps

This was a fun challenge and I love the whimsy and how this came out. Thanks for stopping by and please say hi, your comments make me smile!
