Scraptastical Kreations May DT Challenge

Welcome to the Scraptastical Kreations May DT Challenge Blog Hop! If you've come here from Kristy's blog then you're in the right place. If not you'll surely want to start at the beginning, Kristy's Blog, so you don't miss one fabulous thing!

They say April showers (and this year snow showers, too) bring May flowers, so this month is all about using flowers. We hope you enjoy hopping through the beautiful DT projects and find all of the fabulous ways we've used flowers inspiring. Be sure to stop at each one to smell the roses! Find all 5 of the hidden white roses and you could win some fabulous candy! Each rose is hidden on a different blog throughout the hop.
To win this fabulous flower filled candy all you need to do is:
1. Send us a MESSAGE on the SK FB Fan Page telling us which Five DT members have "the" rose on their page.
2. "Like" the SK FB Fan Page if you haven't already.
3. Leave a comment on each blog along the hop.
As simple as a daisy!  You don't have to follow each blog to be eligible but we'd love it if you did!!

For this month's challenge we want you to show us the creative ways you use flowers on a Mother's Day card.To be eligible to enter your card must contain flowers and any SK piecing, or you can use one of SK's flower files. You can share it with us by posting it on our Facebook Page or in the SK Facebook Group. Projects can be posted all month long, this challenge ends 12AM CST June 1.

One lucky winner will receive $15 to spend in the SK store!

For my Challenge project I made a card using sunflowers and sunflower paper. They're my favorite flower, looking at them just makes me happy :)
For this card I started with craft cardstock, and added a bracket shape (from Banner Blitz) with the sunflower paper. The sunflowers were made from the "Past Flower Freebie", I used some fleece to make the center look fuzzy. My HotPaws writing tool came in handy once again to write the sentiment and I finished it off with some sparkly Really Reasonable Ribbon and gold glitter pen.

Here's the complete line-up if you lose your way:

Beautiful Bling Hop

Welcome to the Beautiful Bling Blog hop. Since April's birthstone is a diamond, we've added some bling and sparkle to our projects. We hope you enjoy what we've created and shared with you today!
If you've happened upon my blog today please head over to Melanie's Blog, The Afternoon Scrapper, that's where all the fun begins.

The project I'm sharing with you today is a Mother's Day card I made for my son to give my mom. She loves elephants and really loves bling so she's sure to love receiving this card.

A closer look with this picture taken outside to try to show all of the sparkle.
For this card I used:
Scraptastical Kreations file "A Day at the Zoo"
Silhouette scalloped shape
DCWV papers
Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Star
Stickles Icicle
Really Reasonable Ribbon
Assorted Bling
Colorbox Chalk Inks

Now it's time to visit the very talented Liz to see what bling she has for you today.

Here is the complete line up, just in case you need it.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I've inspired you in some way! Bling on!!

Butterfly Blog Hop

Thank you for fluttering by today and seeing all the butterflies we have in this hop. These crafters have performed butterfly magic again with their creations and I hope you enjoy looking at the beauty of these creations.

Jearise from http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com is our hostess today and she has a butterfly filled gift for one lucky visitor today so please make sure you begin at her blog to find out how to enter the drawing.

Here is my little bit of butterfly magic for today...

My Goddaughter's birthday was yesterday and she LOVES butterflies so I thought the card I made for her would be perfect for this hop!

I love making shaped cards and I'm really happy with the way this one came out. I hope you like it too! The cutting files I used are from Scraptastical Kreations, "Feeling Buggy", papers are DCWV, Miriam's Crafting Supply for the black pearls on the antennae, and a red pearl with a little black marker to make the ladybug. Some chalk inks, white Sakura Gelly Roll pen and Icicle Stickles to make it pop. And my Cameo to do the hard part ;)

Thank you so much for joining us today and now please flutter over to Jessica's blog SVG Attic.

I'm so glad you stopped by, I hope I've inspired you in some way today! :)
