Scraptastical Kreations Birthday Blog Hop



Thank you so much for joining us in celebrating Scraptastical Kreations first birthday! And now...My project for you today is a birthday card with a complimenting gift bag for a hardworking little fella. On the card I used "A Boys Life" for the truck and the gift boxes are from "Let's Celebrate". On the gift bag is a construction worker and safety cones from "Construction Zone" all from Scraptastical Kreations of course! I made the sign he's holding myself on the Cameo and wrote the saying with a HotPaws Pen Tool just in case there was any doubt as to what's in the bag, Awesome Gifts Ahead, lol!! The "caution" tape was cut out of yellow cardstock then backed with black.

My Dad's the Greatest Blog Hop



Welcome to My Dad's the Greatest Blog Hop. If you arrived from Kristy, then you are on the right track. If you just happened upon my blog and would like to hop from the beginning head over to Pamela. Today we are honoring our Dads, Grand Fathers, Uncles,  Big Brothers, and Husbands... Who ever made a significant, loving mark in your life. Do you remember your father being so big in your eyes, that he could protect you from anything? He was the one who would barbecue or mow the grass. He would go off to work every day and come home tired and still make time to laugh and play. He didn't mind that every Father's Day, he got a tie or slippers. He was our protector!!

We have Blog Candy!!! It’s a fun stamp set from Tim Holtz “Life’s a Journey” to one lucky winner that leaves a comment on every blog.
 

And now for my project, it's not for my Dad but for my husband who I think is one of the most amazing Dad's I've ever known. Not only is he a super hard working provider, he's an excellent role model for our son, instilling in him a loving bond and strength as well as a sense of pride in his accomplishments. Since my husband has so little down time I created this sign to point out to him where to find his foamies once he's ready to relax, lol. This is my first project made with vinyl, there are a couple of little spots that didn't quite turn out perfect but that's ok, it's shows it's hand made with love. All in all, I'm pretty pleased with it and I know he LOVES it! :)
